Indian Community in Russia celebrated 75th Republic Day

Partha Roy, Kolkata: The Indian Community in Moscow, Russia observed the 75th Republic Day of India with great fervour. To mark the 75th Republic Day, an Indian flag-raising ceremony was organised. A cultural program was presented by the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center (JNCC) and the Indian community in Moscow.

Indian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Shri Pavan Kapoor read the speech of the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu and interacted with representatives of the Indian diaspora, including students.

The iconic buildings on Moscow’s Novy Arbat street light up in the Indian and Russian flag colours to celebrate the 75th Republic Day of India as well as celebrate Russia-India Friendship.
