West Bengal Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Smt. Agnimitra Paul outlined the State’s vision to transform urban centers into economic hubs through faster building plan clearances, strict safety enforcement, and sustainable modern engineering. She announced major infrastructure plans, including four smart cities, a ring road, and an elevated corridor connecting Bypass Dhaba to Rajarhat.
Representing the industry, Shri Harshavardhan Neotia called for regulatory support, streamlined metro corridor project implementation, enhanced Centre-State coordination, and a new land policy to boost growth.
