NEWS WAVE INDIA: India strongly criticized Pakistan for raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir during a UN Security Council debate on women, peace and security.

India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, dismissed Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s remarks as “unworthy” of response and “malicious and false propaganda”.

Kamboj termed the statement as “baseless and politically motivated” and said that the claims made by the delegate of Pakistan regarding the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are frivolous.
