JAmritpal is connected to ISI and drug dealers who gave him a Mercedes SUV
NEWS WAVE INDIA: Amritpal Singh, a pro-Khalistan supporter and radical preacher, is on the run following a massive crackdown on his outfit ‘Waris Punjab De’. According to officials, Singh has been maintaining close links with drug peddlers and Pakistan’s ISI to further his goal for a separate country for the Sikhs.
The allegations suggest that drug lords were helping Singh financially, including gifting him a high-end Mercedes SUV, while the ISI was providing him with arms, ammunition, and other logistics. Singh was allegedly travelling in a Mercedes SUV, allegedly gifted by a man accused of peddling drugs, at the time when police were chasing him. Singh has since abandoned the SUV to evade the police and rode a bike to flee the scene.
Singh tried to project himself as a social reformer and was running de-addiction centres with the objective of setting up a private militia with those who come to his fold. The de-addiction centres were allegedly also used to stockpile illegal weapons. Singh and his trusted lieutenants allegedly inculcated a radical, violent way of thinking among those at the de-addiction centres. Inmates who did not follow his diktats were allegedly beaten into submission.
Singh has links with the chief of the International Sikh Youth Federation Lakhbir Singh Rode, who is wanted for trial in India in cases of arms and explosive smuggling, including RDX, conspiracy to attack government leaders in New Delhi, and spreading hatred in Punjab.
If these allegations are true, they suggest that Singh and his associates pose a significant risk to public safety and security. It is important to investigate these claims thoroughly and take appropriate legal action against those involved in illegal activities, including drug peddling and terrorism.
