AI Powers Transformative Technological Revolution Across Sectors for Growth & Development

PARTHA ROY, KOLKATA: Two-day International AI Summit “AI UTKARSH 2026”, themed “Responsible AI – Innovation with Integrity,” was successfully organised by Narula Institute of Technology, JIS Group, as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The summit united global researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to deliberate on Artificial Intelligence’s critical role in driving significant technological transformation across every sector, accelerating growth and sustainable development.

Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group, and Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group, graced the inaugural session along with dignitaries from AICTE, TCS, ISI Kolkata, and IIT Kharagpur.

Sardar Taranjit Singh stated that AI UTKARSH 2026 reflects JIS Group’s commitment to innovation-driven education and global collaboration. He emphasised that the summit provides a vital platform for academia, industry, and policymakers to co-create responsible AI solutions for national growth and societal advancement.

The conference included a 24-hour “AI Hackathon”, and international participation from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka.
