Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates New Parliament Building Amidst Controversy and Criticism

Ramesh highlighted historical events associated with May 28th, remarking that while India mourned the cremation of Nehru, who played a pivotal role in nurturing parliamentary democracy in the country, it also marked the birth anniversary of Savarkar, whose ideology has been linked to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Ramesh further pointed out that President Droupadi Murmu, the first Adivasi President, was not given the opportunity to fulfil her constitutional duties by inaugurating the new Parliament building.
