New Entrepreneurship Incubation Center Launched to Empower MSMEs in Eastern India

PARTHA ROY, KOLKATA: JIS Group has launched its Entrepreneurship Incubation Centre, “Made in JIS”, to empower youth, startups, and MSMEs across Eastern India.

The centre aims to address key challenges faced by early-stage startups and MSMEs while preparing young entrepreneurs for India’s Viksit Bharat@2047 vision in the AI era. It will particularly focus on promoting aspiring entrepreneurs from semi-urban and rural areas. Designed as a collaborative innovation hub, it will connect students, founders, corporates, incubators, and academic institutions through mentorship, industry exposure, and structured resources.

The centre offers two flagship programmes — Pre-Incubation for idea validation and entrepreneurial skills, and Growth Track for product-market fit, fundraising, and scalability — along with a Corporate Innovation Programme for real-world industry collaborations.

Addressing a press conference on 14th May 2026 in Kolkata, visionary talent mentor and educationist Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, Director, JIS Group, briefed the press on the initiative’s commitment to building an inclusive, accessible, and impact-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem.
