Journalists staged “Dharna” under leadership of Rastriya Patrakarita Mahasangh National President Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray at Jantar Mantar New Delhi

Partha Roy, Kolkata: Journalists from 22 states across India staged a protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on November 17, 2024, demanding fulfillment of charter of demands from the Government of India.

Journalists led by Dr. Pavitra Mohan Samantaray, submitted their charter of demands to the President of India, Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Shri Ashwani Vaishnav. Dharna of journalists started with lighting of lamp and Goddess Saraswati vandana.

National Press Day on 16th November 2024 was celebrated under the leadership of Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samantaray in the morning at Constitution Club of India and in the evening at Press Club of India, where many VVIPs of the government, public representatives, media owners, Journalists and media well-wishers participated.
