NEWS WAVE INDIA: In a refreshing new collaboration, acclaimed singer-composer Joi Barua and renowned music producer-guitarist Kalyan Baruah have teamed up for ‘Udaan’, a soulful Bengali track that marks the musical debut of young talent Manisha Majumder.
This is the first time that Joi Barua — known for his evocative vocals in *Laila Majnu* and celebrated works in films like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Dev D’ — has collaborated with Kalyan Baruah, whose stellar production credits include hit soundtracks for ‘Life in a… Metro’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, and ‘Kabir Singh’.
Together, they have created ‘Udaan’, a poignant composition celebrating hope, freedom, and new beginnings. The song introduces Manisha Majumder, whose expressive voice and emotive performance leave a lasting impression, heralding her arrival in the music scene.
