‘JIS Maha SAMMAN’ 2024 presented to two eminent Scientist & Doctor

Partha Roy, Kolkata: ‘JIS Maha SAMMAN’ 2024 was presented to two distinguished personalities- one scientist and one doctor for their pioneering contribution in their professional area.

JIS Maha Samman 2024 was conferred to Dr. Suman Chakraborty, Professor& Dean at IIT Kharagpur, and Dr. Partha
Sarathi Bhattacharya, an eminent Pulmonologist. Dr. Suman Chakraborty, Professor & Dean at IIT Kharagpur, known for his substantial contributions to mechanical engineering and a source of sheer motivation to numerous engineering aspirants; along with Dr. Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya, an eminent Pulmanologist, recognised for his compassionate and proficient approach to simplifying what is often a very complicated and confusing area of health care, specially in treatment of COPD patients.

“JIS Samman” is a series awards launched by JIS group to honour excellence in academic,business, cultural, sports area. “JIS Samman” was presented on 1st February in Kolkata on 104th Birth Anniversary of late Sardar Jodh Singh founder of JIS group.
