INTERNATIONAL KOLKATA SHORT FILM FESTIVAL to kick start on 10th January

NEWS WAVE INDIA: The 3rd edition of IKSFF 2023 organized by Eventizer is all set to kick start on 10th January 2023 with myriad short films from the best of creative minds across the globe. More than 150 short films from 20 countries are participating in this festival. Celebrities and eminent personalities have associated with this as Juries, Guests, and Participants.

The festival has Jalaluddin Gasimov film director from Azerbaijan as one of the juries and Arghya Kamal Mitra, Mohan Das, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Usha Deshpande, Rajeev Kumar Gohil, Soumitra Dastidar, Sandipan Roy, Nabarun Bose as advisors. A total of 25 awards will be awarded to the winning participants in the ceremony along with the prestigious Late Jiban Guha Memorial Award and Most Innovative Creation Award. This year the festival committee decided to give Lifetime Achievement Award to Mr Barun Chanda for his huge contribution to Indian Cinema.

The festival will be flagged off with an online screening on Kolkata’s First Short Film Platform eFilmzone –
www.efilmzone.eventizer.co.in from 10th January 2023. to 14th January 2023. The week-long online festival will be a paid event and will screen a total of 80+ short films from India and abroad.
