PARTHA ROY, Greater Noida/Kolkata: The 61st edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 opened with great fanfare at the India Expo Centre & Mart, providing a vital platform for Indian exporters to showcase high-quality, innovative handicrafts to international buyers from 109 countries. Organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the event underscores the “Made in India” brand, fostering global partnerships amid an era of Free Trade Agreements with various nations and economic blocs. This initiative is poised to drive growth and expansion in the handicrafts sector, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), by enhancing market access and competitiveness.
IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 is being held from 14 -18 February 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh ( Delhi- NCR) The fair presents a comprehensive collection of Home, Lifestyle, Fashion, Furnishings, Furniture, Gifts, and Interior products for the season ahead from over 3000+ manufacturers & exporters.
“FURNITURE” is the special focus of the fair.
Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh inaugurated the fair on February 13, lauding it as a testament to India’s rich handicraft heritage evolving into a premier sourcing hub. He outlined government ambitions, including empowering artisans to earn Rs 5 lakhs annually, penetrating 40 new markets, and scaling exports to Rs 60,000 crores. Singh commended EPCH’s leadership under Dr Rakesh Kumar and highlighted key hubs like Moradabad, Jaipur, and the North Eastern regions.
EPCH Chairman Dr Neeraj Khanna expressed gratitude for governmental support, which has elevated confidence in Indian products’ innovation and quality. Director General Dr Rakesh Kumar described the fair as a resilient trade nexus, featuring 900 permanent showrooms for sustained business. Chief Convenor Avdhesh Agarwal stressed exhibitors’ focus on modernization and sustainability, while President Mohit Chopra anticipated robust growth through diverse offerings.
