ICC RCGC Open Golf Championship returns for its second edition

NEWS WAVE INDIA: The Indian Chamber of Commerce ICC along with the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) and the Tata Steel professional Golf tour of India (PGTI) will be e Staging the Second Edition of the ICC RCGC Open Golf championship powered by Urbana at the historic RCGC in Kolkata from November 24-28, 2021. Mr. Uttam Mundy, CEO (PGTI), was speaking at a press conference in Kolkata today. There was a graceful presence of Mr. Rohan Ghosh, Captain RCGC, Mr. Pradeep Sureka, Sr. VP ICC, and The tournament offers a prize purse worth RS. 40 lakh and witnesses the return of the Tata Steel PGTI to the revered RCGC after 2 years.

The tournament features some of the top Indian professionals such as leading players in the PGTI Order of Merit Manu Gandas, Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, Om Prakash Chauhan, Akshay Sharma, Amardeep Malik, M Dharma and Kshitij Naveed Kaul as well as the experienced Shameem Khan and Mukesh Kumar to name a few the international challenges will be lead by Sri Lankans Mithun Perera (defending champion), Anura Rohana, N thangaraja
and K Prabagaran, the Bangladeshis MD Jamal Hussain Mollah, Badal Hussain, MD Sayum, MD Dulal Husain and MD Akbar Hussain.

The local challenge will be led by Kolkata-based professionals such as former PGTI Order of Merit champion Shankar Das, former Indian Open champion Feroz Ali Mollah and other leading players such as Sunit Chaurasiya, Divyanshu Bajaj and Mohammad Sanju.
