Regional National Group Song Competition Concludes Successfully in Kolkata

NEWS WAVE INDIA: The Eastern Region round of the National Group Song Competition (NGSC), organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, concluded with great enthusiasm and patriotism at the Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad auditorium in Kolkata. Students from 7 schools in the region participated, showcasing their dedication to the nation through soulful patriotic renditions. Bharat Vikas Parishad has been conducting NGSC for 58 years, inspiring millions of young students to celebrate India’s cultural heritage and national pride. This year’s Kolkata regional event continued this tradition with vibrant performances and widespread participation.

Chief Guest, Shri Bhomraj Sarawgi, praised the young participants, saying, “These children are the true carriers of our nation’s cultural spirit. Their dedication and passion show how deeply patriotism is rooted in India’s youth. Competitions like NGSC build strong values and unity.”

Special Guest, Shri Dinesh Adukia, admired the students’ discipline and preparation: “Music has the power to unite, inspire, and uplift. Watching these young teams sing with emotion fills me with hope for India’s future. I applaud Bharat Vikas Parishad for nurturing young talent.”

Honoured Guest, Shri Vishwanath Agarwala, highlighted the cultural significance: “Patriotic songs are messages that strengthen national identity. Today’s performances were remarkable, reflecting the cultural richness of India’s next generation.”

Observer Dr. Vijay Laxmi Sahu, National Coordinator (Sanskars), shared her appreciation: “NGSC is a sanskar-based movement. These children beautifully expressed values of unity, discipline, and love for the nation. I congratulate every participant and organiser.”

The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Shri Anil Mallawat, Shri Rakesh Gupta, Shri Purna Chandra Khuntia, and others.

DP AS School, Ranchi, Jharkhand, secured first place and will represent the Eastern Region at the national level in Gwalior.
