Partha Roy, Kolkata: People of West Bengal especially Hindus celebrated Ram Navami with great devotion on 17th April 2024 across the state. In fact on the last day of Chaitra Navratri Ram Navami was celebrated across Bharat.

In Kolkata as well as in the districts men, women, youths, children visited Ram temples, Hanuman temples, Durga Mandirs to pray as well as offer puja to the deity of Ram. ISKCON temple at Albert Road Kolkata celebrated Ram Navami where thousands of devotees attended the puja.

After opening of Ram Temple in Ayodhya by Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in January 2024, this is the first Ram Navami was being observed. As various reports indicated Hindus across the country and places abroad celebrated Ram Navami with great devotion to Bhagwan Sri Ram and with pride and joy.
