Kolkata Metro Eases Travel for Cricket Fans at ICC Semis

NEWS WAVE INDIA: Great news for Kolkata cricket fans! The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup semi-final between Australia and South Africa will take place at Eden Gardens on 16.11.2023. Kolkata Metro will run special services on that day. So, cricket lovers won’t have to worry about returning home after this high-voltage match at night.

In a statement Kolkata Metro’s CPRO Kausik Mitra said, on the Blue Line’s Kavi Subhash route, a service departing from Esplanade at 22:45 will reach Dakshineswar station by 23:18. Likewise, another service starting from Esplanade at 22:45 will arrive at Kavi Subhash station by 23:18 on that day. Both services will make stops at all stations in between.
