NEWS WAVE INDIA: The Cricket Association of Bengal has announced the completion of a major renovation of its press box and media center just in time for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The upgraded facilities boast a modern, international standard design and state-of-the-art amenities for media professionals and VIP guests.
Measuring over 3000 sqft, the renovated media center is equipped with the latest gadgets and technologies, featuring vitrified marble tiles and textured walls for a pleasing aesthetic. Meanwhile, the press box now has crystal-clear tempered glass for the front view, ergonomic revolving chairs, panelled desks, carpeted floors, and decorated pillars with channel lights to provide a luxurious experience. The press box also comes with seven LED TV sets, inbuilt WiFi, and a fully functional media station to facilitate the work of journalists and media personnel.
Additionally, 15 corporate boxes, including seven in L Block and eight in B Block, have been redesigned to offer a cozy and luxurious experience for guests. These boxes are equipped with comfortable seating arrangements and other amenities to create an atmosphere of pampering and hospitality.
The club house boxes are also undergoing a similar facelift as part of the renovation project. The lobby area and players’ dressing room are among the areas being overhauled to give the entire facility a more international, classy and posh look and feel.
