Senco Gold & Diamonds Launches Handmade 'Padaboli' Jewelry Collection

NEWS WAVE INDIA: Senco Gold & Diamonds, the largest organized jewelry retailer in Eastern India, has launched a unique handmade silver and non-silver jewelry collection called ‘Padaboli.’ The collection falls under their fashion and lifestyle jewelry sub-brand, Gossip. The collection has been showcased in an exclusive four-day exhibition that started on March 23rd and will continue till March 26th at Gallery Gold Art Centre, Kolkata.
The 4 day exhibition to showcase the new range of handcrafted ‘Padaboli’ jewellery collection along with an exclusive range of handwoven sarees was inaugurated in the presence of singer Lopamudra Mitra, Ms. Joita Sen, Director, Senco Gold & Diamonds, Jayati Mukherjee - Senior Faculty, jewellery designing, NIFT
The Padaboli collection is a collaboration between Senco Gold & Diamonds and weavers, who have created jewelry matching the designs on handwoven sarees. The collection reflects Bengal’s rich tradition of craftsmanship and artisanship through intricate designs of handwoven sarees and the reflection of it on jewelry.

The exhibition showcases the exclusive Gossip collection, portraying traditional jamdani, handloom, and kantha-stitch saree designs in jewelry made of silver and other alloy metals. The artisans have developed this unique combination of jewelry designs by matching different geometric shapes and birds, trees, leaves, and animals on the sarees.

Senco Gold & Diamonds has collaborated with veteran textile designer and weaver Manas Ghorai for this exclusive exhibition. Through this unique initiative, the brand has tried to revive centuries-old, forgotten weaving techniques blended with contemporary jewelry designs and motifs.

The exhibition is a great opportunity for saree and jewelry lovers to experience Bengal’s rich tradition of craftsmanship and artisanship. Customers can buy sarees and jewelry of their choice during the exhibition from 3 pm to 8 pm. Matching necklaces, earrings, bangles can be found with each saree, and the price range starts from INR 1000.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Joita Sen, Director, Senco Gold & Diamonds, said, “We are happy to showcase the 2nd edition of Padaboli, a unique exhibition of jewelry and traditional sarees of Bengal among patrons of jewelry and connoisseur of handmade textiles in the city. The new Padaboli collection is specially curated to celebrate Poila Baisakh and display the intricate skills of artisans and weavers of Bengal.”

The Padaboli Collection will be available at all Senco Gold & Diamonds showrooms from March 26 onwards. The collection is a celebration of Bengal’s rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship, and the unique combination of saree designs with jewelry reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation and creativity.
