NEWS WAVE INDIA: The 2nd NIRI9 International Film Festival was inaugurated Saturday 25th March at Kala Mandir in Kolkata. The event, organized by the popular OTT platform NIRI9, will run for two days, featuring around 300 films, including short films, documentaries, and full-length features from around the world.

The festival’s opening ceremony was graced by the presence of renowned veteran film personality and National award winner Seema Biswas and NIRI9 Director Dr. Junmoni Devi Khaund. Singer Zubeen Garg and Singer cum Advocate Carlyta Mouhini were also felicitated during the ceremony.
Preetishna Pujari performed a devotional dance as part of the opening ceremony.

A total of 33 films have been selected to be screened during the festival, each depicting important, emotional, and realistic aspects of life. The festival aims to provide a platform for talented filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with audiences from across the globe.

The 2nd NIRI9 International Film Festival promises to be a treat for film enthusiasts and is expected to draw large crowds from the city and beyond.
