Western Music Carnival: Organised by Delhi Tourism
Dilip Guha, New Delhi: Delhi Tourism organizes many fairs and festivals as part of its activities and in its series, a four-day “Western Music Carnival” organized from 22 to 25 December 2023 at Kala Gram, adjacent to Garden of Five Senses, Said-ul-Ajaib, New Delhi.
Music plays a pivotal role in the lives of common people. In India, classical music possesses a very important role but Western music also has its place. Music also works as a meditation tool in our lives. Delhi Tourism, in its commitment to celebrating diverse cultural experiences, and Keeping this festival season in mind with the interest of the youth organized this carnival where famous bands enthralled the visitors with their performances.
On the first day of the event popular band ‘Dilli India Project’ performed which was appreciated by the visitors. On the second day of the event band ‘ Suryansh Project’ was the main highlight of the day.
On the third day, Antriksh Band takes the stage, promising an evening of exciting and captivating Western music. The main attraction of the last day of the carnival was the famous Parikrama and Friends Band. Their performance mesmerized everyone present there.
Apart from this, a special entertainment area for children (Kids Zone) has been set up in the carnival, which had carriages, swings, Santa Claus etc. along with a variety of food and craft stalls. During the carnival, various fun activities also took place, which were greatly appreciated by the visitors. Buggy, Santa Claus, Mickey Mouse, bumping-jumping and other swings for children were amongst the other attractions of the event. Besides the above, the visitors also enjoyed various food delicacies and crafts available at the stalls.
The carnival concluded with a thanks note from the Chief Manager of Delhi Tourism Ms. Sunita Kumari Kaushik. Delhi Tourism is going to organize comedy nights very soon! The carnival ended with a promise to meet soon in the New Year.
