This power block will be taken on 20.05.23(Saturday) and 21.05.23 (Sunday).<\/p>\n<p>On 20.05.23(Saturday), Metro services will run in between Dakshineswar\/Dumdum \u2013 Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations from 06:50 hrs to 10:00 hrs. as usual. No services will be available on Mahanayak Uttam Kumar \u2013 Kavi Subhash stretch from 06:50 hrs \u2013 10:00 hrs. on that day. From 10:00 hrs. onwards normal services will be available over the entire Dakshineswar \u2013 Kavi Subhash stretch as usual.<\/p>\n<p>On 21.05.23 (Sunday) Metro services will be available in between Dakshineswar\/Dumdum \u2013 Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations from 09:00hrs to 10:00hrs. No Metro services will be available on Mahanayak Uttam Kumar \u2013 Kavi Subhash stretch from 09:00hrs \u2013 10:00hrs. From 10:00hrs onwards normal services will be available over the entire Dakshineswar \u2013 Kavi Subhash stretch as usual.<\/p>\n<p>Shri Kausik Mitra,CPRO, Metro Railway has categorically clarified that this block is being taken on this weekend for regular track maintenance work causing least inconvenience to the commuters. Metro piers on Kavi Subhash to Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stretch, i.e. the via-duct section is safe and fit for the Metro movement. Metro Railway authorities take all possible measures to ensure safety of commuters while running the Metro.
