The Bose Legacy at ICCR
Sudipto Chakraborty, News Wave India: The 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is being celebrated across the country. “You give me blood, I will give you freedom,” he said, still inspiring the country’s youth. On the occasion of Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary, a joint venture between the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Sarat Bose Academy and the Bose Legacy Foundation organized a function at the ICCR’s Satyajit Ray Auditorium.
The program begins with the performance of the national anthem. ICCR President Dr. Vijay Sahasrabuddhe and President of Sarat Bose Academy, Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly were also present. Arindam Mukherjee, a member of the ICCR’s Governing Council and Madhuri Bose, RSVP has been instrumental in organizing the event. The event were feature the launch of a Cine Theatre ‘The Boss Legacy inked through letters’. The theater is served in the form of a movie. The program ended with the musical tribute of Rajnath Das.
Dr Vijay Sahasrabuddhe, president of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations says, “The important dimension of his life is firstly a great patriot and therefor patriotism. the second important dimension of his personality was Weller and the kind of importance gave is to his struggle. And the kind of strategic mind that was at display something all of us should be learning from. and the third the little known dimension of his personality was that at the core Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was also a spiritual person.”
President of the Sarat Bose Academy Justice Ashok K Ganguly says, “Such a glow that it leaves and never lasting trend in the Indian history and also in history of the world, that is why still today Netaji is and enigma and his immense contribution to people’s freedom struggle all over the world that’s not been properly evaluated even now.”
