Satya Sai Baba’s Centenary Celebration preparation by connecting to masses started

PARTHA ROY, Kolkata: The Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini Yatra is a 18-month journey across India, celebrating the centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Five intricately crafted chariots, carrying the divine presence, will travel 30,000 kilometers across five zones- North , South , East, West , Central spreading the message of “Love All, Serve All” to millions. Each chariot has a beautifully designed altar, radiating serenity and sanctity.

The yatra, which began on April 25, 2025, has reached West Bengal, traversing 23 districts and spreading love, peace, and selfless service. The chariot will rest at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Kendra in Barrackpore from June 26 to July 10, 2025, where various activities, including Ati Rudra Maha Yagna and interfaith congregation, will take place. The chariots will return to Prasanthi in November 2026.

The Rathams are crafted with love and precision by master artisans from Odisha. Humanitarian initiatives, such as medical camps and vocational training, are also being undertaken. The yatra has received overwhelming support from the public and local authorities, emerging as a model of collaborative spirit between civil society and government.
