Metro Railway General Manager conducts inspection at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station and Tollygunge Carshed

NEWS WAVE INDIA: The General Manager of Metro Railway, Shri P. Uday Kumar Reddy, conducted an inspection of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station and Tollygunge Carshed on April 21, 2023. The inspection started with Shri Reddy taking a Metro ride from Park Street and conducting a footplate inspection of the stretch from the Conducting Motorman’s cab.

GENERAL MANAGER INSPECTS MAHANAYAK UTTAM KUMAR STATION AND TOLLYGUNGE CARSHED

During the inspection, Shri Reddy examined the platform area, concourse area, AFC-PC Gates, and other passenger amenities at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar station. Later, he inspected Tollygunge Carshed and instructed concerned officials to renovate the shed for better maintenance of Metro rakes and improved passenger services on the Blue Line.

Shri H.N. Jaiswal, Principal Chief Engineer, Additional General Manager, and other senior officials of Metro Railway accompanied the General Manager during the inspection.
