Kolkata Women Unite for ‘Tiranga Yatra’ Supporting Indian Defence Forces’ Operation Sindoor

PARTHA ROY, Kolkata: On May 20, 2025, Banga Narishakti and Sanskar Bharati organized “Avinandan Yatra” in Kolkata to support Indian Army’s “Operation Sindoor”. The rally, from Swami Vivekananda’s ancestral home to Bhagini Nivedita’s home, saw participation from men, women, children, and various sections of society.

Participants carried a 100-foot long Tricolour, demonstrating solidarity with the Indian Army. Women highlighted the significance of “Sindoor” in Hindu culture while thanking the Indian Defence Forces for securing the nation’s borders and fighting terrorism. The event showcased wholehearted support for the forces’ efforts in maintaining national security.
