Keeping in view advancement in various facets of medical technologies as well as wide spread introduction of AI( artificial intelligence) in healthcare management ,9th CII Nursing Conclave with theme ” Emerging Technologies, Redefining Care” was organised on 19th June 2025 in Kolkata.
Shri Debashis Dutta Chairman CII West Bengal State Council addressing the conclave emphasized irrespective of technological advancement, human touch and human care provided by the nurses and caregivers will remain critically important. Visionary leader and industrialist Sardar Simerpreet Singh co- Chairman CII Eastern Region Education & Skill Development Sub- committee stressed on continuous capacity building for nursing . He mentioned continuous upgradation of skills critically important for healthy growth & expansion of nursing care in India. Dr. Usha Ukande President , Nursing Honor Society mentioned about changing role of nurses with introduction of new technologies including evolving operational practices in nursing care.
Despite technological advancements, human touch & care with empathy, as well as holistic approach will remain core of nursing care. Professional nursing academic and vocational curriculum are continuously getting upgraded across India with adoption of new and innovative technologies and global best practices. Nursing fraternity is going to play pivotal role in transforming India in to global health care hub and in implementation of India ‘s mission of ” Heal in India” contributing to Indian economy and India ‘s Viksit Bharat @2047 journey.
