Mr. P. Chidambaram was discussing his new book “A Watershed Year” with Monideepa Banerjee. Modi Government’s effort to promote biometric based identity through Aadhar no., implemention of “JanDhan, Aadhar, Mobile”(JAM), fixing of prilferage, transfer of cash to beneficiaries electronicly were conceptualised during Congress regime.
